October 13th

Wow. My heart is so happy.

This week was huge.

Happiest news first.

I HAVE A NEW COMPANION!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

To be honest she´s not actually a missionary, she´s an angel. I have honestly not found a single thing wrong with her. She is incredible and I love her so so so so much! Her name is Sister Lugen and she´s from Paraguay. She grew up speaking portuguese because she lived so close to the border. She´s 19 years old and the oldest of 6 children. She is extremely gentle and sweet and tenderly loving. She is an incredible missionary who loves to work and just does everything dilligently and incredibly. I am learning so much with her.She just has a healing energy about her that is so beautiful. We work very well together and have a very similar style of teaching because the missionary who trained her, and her last companion,was the very first missionary that I trained, Sister Ferreyra. We just love each other and are going to have a wonderful transfer:)

Other happy news, Carlos was baptized!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! It was a miracle that it all worked out with everything that happened this week. No unhallowed hand can stop the work from progressing! He was so happy! He bought a bunch of church clothes this week by himself and was so excited to show them to us. He´s extremely friendly and everyone loves him. 

We also started teaching a new family this week that is really special. They have a little 8 year old son who is way funny. I´ll include a picture.

I love my mission. I love this work. I LOVE my companion! I love the gospel. 

I am so grateful for the atonement that carries us when we can´t go on by ourselves. I have a stronger testimony than ever of the power of fervent prayer. I know God lives and loves us. I know this is His true church. 

My invitation this week is to be like my companion. Help everyone without being asked or expecting anything in return. Love people and treat everyone like the Savior would.
