I
just have to start off my email by saying how much I love everyone.
This week was a little rough and so it was extra sweet to be showered
with lovely words and pictures.
So coming into this week we had 9 possible baptisms.
Sadly ALL of them fell through. It was a little rough because we had to
cut almost all of them ourselves. We really could have baptized a lot
of them but for reasons of obedience we didn´t. This week we had a
special training for the sisters and found out that a Sister got sent
home early. It was really hard and reeeally shook me up.
Because of what happened we now have a lot of new and really
strict rules. It was really a test of faith to apply these news rules and
be obedient but we did and we had miracles. I have such a testimony of
exact obedience. It was a beautful thing to teach this priciple to my
companion that I´m training and to really see it work out.
Part of our miracle week was finding a ton of new investigators who
are oozing with potential! If you know me at all you will know that I
am obsessed with Africa. God gave me the most beautiful miracle possible
this week because 5 our of new investigators are AFRICAN!!! WOOOO! It´s
a dream come true literally!! All of them are INSANELY prepared and
open and searching for religion. All of them are here studying and
working. They all left their family and life and church in Africa and
they´re hungry for the gospel. We marked baptism dates for all them and
it was just a miracle!
I´m out of time. I love you all and I´m so grateful for your love and support!
I´ll answer all of your questions next week!!
Love from Africa,
Sister Brown
