February 17

Just so everyone can be aware, the title of this email/blog needs to be sung as in "White Christmas" Rosemary Clooney style. Ok good. I´m glad we´re on the same page.
In other news, Sister Fernelius and I discovered another happy connection that we both share a love for White Christmas. "Sisters" quickly became our "lema"/motto for our companionship. It´s perfect! We´re modifying some lines to make it even more applicable but it´s working out just great. Oh, how I love her.
This week was incredible, incredible. I feel like this transfer with my incredible companion, I am truly being the person I have always wanted to be. Missions can be soooo hard sometime but the payoff is huge. There truly is nothing that can compare to mission blessings. I still have such a long way to go and so may things to change to be the person I want to and need to be but it´s so lovely to see progress.
I would like to share a really special experience that happened this week. We did a divição/division with some of our Sisters this week. I stayed in our area with Sister Brasil.  She´s a brand new sister from Brasil (shocker eh?) and is wonderful! We had a great day! At about 8:50 we decided to try to pass by one more person. On the way we saw a group of women sitting in the street (super normal). We greeted them "Boa Noite!) and continued on our path. I got a strong promplting a few steps later that we needed to go back and talk to them. This totally didn´t make logical sense since we were almost at the time when we needed to be in our apartment. Nevertheless, we heeded the voice of the spirit and went back to talk to them. We started talking and we sat down with them and got to know them . When they realized that we were missionaries, one of them got really excited. It turns out her husband died 5 months ago and she was having a REALLY hard day. It was a beautiful lesson . We sang "FAmilias poderão ser eternas" and we all cried. She was so sad because all the other churches she was visiting were telling her that she wouldn´t see her husband again and if she did he´d be her brother and not remember her. It was INCREDIBLE to testify that her family can be together forever and she can be in love with her husband for all of eternity. She took this just big sigh of relief when I testified to her of this. She said "it just makes sense!". It was incredible. The gospel makes sense.
I love you all and I´m out of time!
I LOVE YOU!!
